Eyelids, Eyebags & Eyebrows

Open Your Eyes

to the World

They say that eyes are windows to the soul as they communicate our feelings to others. And perhaps that is why the area around of the eyes, including the forehead, is such an essential part of our face. They are integral to not just how we see the world but to how the world sees us.
Over time, no matter what we do, we can develop under-eye bags and overhanging eyelids. Even when we are feeling as fresh as a daisy, it can make us look tired. Or perhaps it’s a sagging, heavy brow or wrinkles on the forehead that make us appear unhappy and grumpy when that’s the last thing on our minds.
Well, don’t worry! If you’re tired of looking tired even when you feel great, it may be the best time to consult with our plastic surgeons to know your option.

      Eyebrow Lifting

Frown lines, horizontal creases and drooping eyebrows can make you appear angry, sad, or unapproachable, even when you’re not.

      How it is done?

The brow lift is performed through an incision made from ear to ear across the crown of the head. The skin of the brow is lifted carefully, and some of the underlying muscle tissue is removed. The skin is pulled back, and the excess skin is trimmed so that it fits exactly with the incision line. A less invasive version of brow lift is to remove the excess skin via an incision made at the eyebrow.

      Double Eyelid

Double eyelid surgery, also known as upper eyelid blepharoplasty, is a procedure where upper eyelid creases are created to form double eyelid folds.

      How it is done?

      The surgical Cutting
      METHOD
The surgical method involves making an incision at the upper eyelids to create a permanent crease and fold. Usually, some skin and muscle will be excised as well.
      Non- Surgical Suture
      METHOD
In this method, no cut is made. Instead, surgical sutures are used to create the upper eyelid crease to form natural double eyelid folds.
These sutures are permanently buried, so they will not be removed. This method is a good option if no excess skin or fat needs to be removed.

      Eyebag Removal
      (Lower Blepharoplasty)

Eyebag removal surgery or lower blepharoplasty is performed to remove excess fat and skin from the lower eyelid area, reducing the appearance of the under-eye bag.

      How it is done?

THERE ARE 2 APPROACHES FOR LOWER BLEPHAROPLASTY:

      TRANSCUTANEOUS
      METHOD
With this method, there is no skin incision involved. Incisions are made at the inner aspect of the lower eyelid. This method is suitable for a younger person, where the removal of excess skin is not required.
      TRANSCONJUNCTIVAL
      METHOD
Subciliary incisions are commonly used for this method. A good option if you have excess skin to be removed.
