Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) Compliance
KO SKIN SPECIALIST CENTRE is subject to the personal data protection principles under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (hereafter referred to as PDPA). The Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) is legislation that governs the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal data. To comply with the Act, KO SKIN SPECIALISTCENTRE are required to manage the personal data that we collect from you.

Healthcare professional (as defined in PDPA), KO SKIN SPECIALIST CENTRE and its related companies (as defined under CA 1965), Government agencies, Local authorities, non-government agencies, Paying and insurance agent, Debt collection authorities and agencies, Financial institutions, Legal firms, Auditors, Vendor/Contractor, Other private/public hospitals and Healthcare providers, Training provider, Family and next of kin, to such parties as may be required by law, court, regulator or legal process to disclose, to such parties as may be permitted under the laws of Malaysia.
- Update the Personal Data
We strive to ensure that the personal data we hold about you is protection, accurate, complete, not misleading, and up-to-date. It is your obligation to ensure that all personal data submitted to us and retained by us are accurate, not misleading, updated and complete in all aspects. If you believe that any of your personal data is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or not up-to-date, please contact us so that we can update it accordingly. For the avoidance of doubt, we and/or the Group and/or its employees or authorized officers will not be responsible for any personal data submitted by you to us that is inaccurate, misleading, incomplete and not updated.
- Retention and Deletion of Personal Data
Any personal data retained by us will be destroyed or deleted from our records and systems in accordance with our retention policy when it is no longer required for the specified purposes
