Double Eyelid Surgery

Getting the appropriate height of the double eyelid is the most important aspect of a double eyelid surgery, even half a millimetre makes a big difference.

The Ko-Je method was developed at KlinikKo based on the Japanese method of double eyelid surgery. While the Japanese use a microscope, we use a surgical loupe and a smaller incision, the outcome of the double eyelid can be controlled better.

The benefits of this procedure are very encouraging for someone seeking a predictable outcome from double eyelid surgery. Patients are given light sedation whilst the surgery takes place and are advised to have someone accompany them to and from the clinic. They will not be able to see straight after the surgery.

The flexibility and predictability that comes with this method are the reasons why it has become the recommended procedure by our surgeons.

Eyebag Removal

Lower blepharoplasty, also known as eyebag removal surgery, is performed to remove excess fat and skin from the lower eyelid area, reducing the appearance of eyebag.

There are 2 approaches for lower blepharoplasty: transconjunctival incision and subciliary incision.

Transconjunctival incision is made on the inner part of the lower eyelid, thus avoids any external scarring. Through this method, only excess fat can be removed. Usually, it is recommended for patients in their 30s.

Subcilary incision is made right below the lower lid lashes. This incision enable the surgeon to remove fatty tissues, as well as saggy lower lid skin.

Eyebrow Lifting

Frown lines, horizontal creases and drooping eyebrows can make you appear angry, sad, or unapproachable, even when you’re not.

The brow lift is performed through an incision made from ear to ear across the crown of the head. The skin of the brow is lifted carefully and some of the underlying muscle tissue is removed. The skin is pulled back and the excess skin is trimmed so that it fits exactly with the incision line.

A less invasive version of brow lift is to remove the excess skin via an incision made at the eyebrow. Kindly arrange for a consultation so that our doctors can determine the suitable treatment for you.
