Varicose & Spider Veins
The Creeping Tree Branches
Varicose veins are large, raised, swollen blood vessels that twist and turn through the skin, much like tree branches. They usually develop in the legs.
Spider veins are mini versions of varicose veins, often red, purple, and blue in colour, with the appearance of a spider web, hence the name. They can be found on legs, chest, or even face.
Heredity, overweight issues, pregnancy, and occupations that involve long hours of standing can cause varicose or veins.
